Jeni is offering the following Tarot courses in 2013.

• Comprehensive introductory Tarot course(16 weeks) - starting February or July 2013
• Advanced Tarot course (16 weeks) - starting February or July 2013
• Tarot Master Classes (16 weeks) - starting February 2013 but not available in Semester 2; will be offered again February 2014
• Meditations on the Minor Arcana - starting July 2013
• Meditations on the Major Arcana - starting October 2013

Comprehensive Introductory Tarot course
(16 weeks)

Course includes:

• Historical overview
• Study of Both Major and Minor Arcana
• Examination of esoteric and other card symbolism
• Card interpretation, principally using Waite-Smith design Tarot deck
• Introduction to commonly used spreads
• Practice in reading and interpreting spreads
• Discussion of ethical considerations
• Review of books and decks available
• Class CDs available on loan for any sessions missed
• Detailed weekly notes
• A Certificate of Completion

Time
This is a 16-week course which runs over  two 8-week terms (7:15 – 9:30pm). The Semester Two course will be held on Tuesday evenings, starting 9th July.

Location: CLIFTON HILL

The cost is $320 per term, payable in instalments. 

Early Bird: $290 per term for payment made two weeks before start date.

Advanced Tarot course (16 weeks)

This course is designed to further the knowledge and skills of students of the Tarot; those who already have a working knowledge of the cards and wish now to consolidate and extend their Tarot talents.

The course will focus on many interesting aspects of the Tarot in much greater detail than is possible in a standard Tarot course.  With each topic, students will have the chance to acquire new understandings and then apply these, at the same time gaining feedback from other participants.  There will be an emphasis on hands-on, experiential learning, in pairs and small groups.  

This is an opportunity to:

• Spend quality time in a welcoming, comfortable environment with like-minded people who share your passion for the Tarot.
• Apply and advance your existing Tarot knowledge and skills.
• Learn, and apply many new spreads, and even design your own for others to try!
• Receive a Certificate of Completion of this Advanced Tarot course.

Areas to be explored
Each topic will run for one, two or three sessions, depending on its complexity.  Course content will include:

• The Court Cards                              
• Tarot Reversals   
• Tarot and Astrology
• Business/Career
• Money/Prosperity                           
• Health and Well-being
• Romantic Love & Other Relationships
• Working with The Moon
• Card Associations
• Tarot and Numerology
• Karma and the Soul’s Journey
• Tarot and timing
• Spread design.

Tarot Master classes (16 weeks)     
Not available in Semester Two - will be offered again in February 2014.

Meditations on the Tarot Minor Arcana

This course focuses on the ‘pip’ cards (Ace – X) of the Minor  Arcana.
Meditation on Minor Arcana cards can stimulate  psychological/ spiritual exploration and growth,

• helping participants develop a deeper understanding of each card’s archetypal energy
• broadening the meaning/s which participants may attribute to the card in readings for self and others
• offering insights into situations presently being experienced by participants in their day-to-day lives.

Time:
This is an 8-week course conducted on Thursday evenings, starting 11th July.

Location: CLIFTON HILL 

The cost of the course is $290, payable in two instalments.

Early Bird: $265 for payment made two weeks before start date.

Meditations on the Tarot Major Arcana

This course focuses on certain Major Arcana cards, as selected by group participants. Meditation on individual cards can stimulate psychological/spiritual exploration and growth.
