Divinatory Readings - 30 or 60 minutes

The Tarot is a tool to give us wisdom and guidance. I have been conducting  divinatory  Tarot readings, professionally, since 1993. Readings can be invaluable in assisting people who are confronted with major choices and decisions in areas of their lives, such as career, romance, finances, health and travel.

• Readings are conducted at mutually agreeable times throughout the week - weekdays, evenings or weekends - in Clifton Hill, Melbourne.
• Readings are recorded so you have a full account of all that takes place during the reading on CD to refer to later.

My Divinatory Tarot Readings

How is Divination different from Fortune Telling?
Fortune telling presumes the future is completely predestined. This means that the querent is passive and powerless during the reading and, by implication, throughout her life. But we do have power; we do have choices! A good tarot reading is one based on the idea that we have some control over our destiny.

Certainly Tarot cards can foretell the future to some extent; but in my opinion those predictions are possible or, in some cases, probable events and outcomes. They are not etched in stone. In many instances we have the power to alter the course of events. We always have the power to alter our responses and reactions to events.

But to do this we need to understand ourselves better. So a good tarot reading will not only foretell future possibilities, but will assist each querent to increase his/her self awareness, to recognise the positive and negative patterns that have such power to influence how our lives are shaped and directed.

My divinatory readings assume there are 3 equally valuable components in a divinatory tarot reading that are all actively participating:

the cards, the reader and the querent.

Working together, what is revealed to the querent is not only the likely future events, but also increased understanding of the patterns of thinking and acting that may, on the one hand, be holding the querent back from reaching his/her full potential, or on the other hand, that will promote the likelihood of positive outcomes in the future.
